Our rental center is closed on the following statutory holidays: Good Friday / Victoria Day / Canada Day / Civic Holiday / Labour Day / Thanksgiving Day. No pickup or returns can be made on these days.
Sunday pick-ups or returns - $150.00 per exchange.
NO REFUND FOR EARLY RETURNS, LATE PICK-UPS OR UNUSED KILOMETERS! PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED!
Vehicles are not permitted to enter Mexico at any time. No driving between May 1 and September 30 to Death Valley, California.
North surcharge $400.00 per vehicle. Clients wanting to travel in the North must advise us at the time of booking. Travel on Dalton or Dempster Highways is prohibited under all conditions for all vehicles.
Full payment is required on day of pickup. Payment may be made by cash, travelers cheques, credit card, bank draft or by money order. All renters must be in possession of a valid credit card. We accept Visa or Master Card. Security deposits made by credit card are held only and not processed. Deposits are refunded when vehicle is returned in a clean, undamaged condition, complete with all equipment. A $500.00 booking deposit is required when making a reservation.
Northern Lights Vacations Ltd. insurance coverage of $5,000,000.00 for public liability / property damage is free of charge with all rentals; also included in the basic rental rate is collision coverage with $10,000.00 deductible.
Motorhomes
Three options are available to reduce the deductible amount. CDW1000 (Collision Damage Waiver) is $20.00 per day. CDW1000 reduces the renters liability to $1000.00 per occurrence for accidents on public roads. CDW750 (Collision Damage Waiver) is $22.00 per day and reduces the renters liability to $750.00 per occurence for accidents on public roads. CDW500 (Collision Damage Waiver) is $24.00 per day and reduces the renters liability to $500.00 per occurence for accidents on public roads. Glass Plus insurance is $6.00 per day, available with a $100.00 deductible on glass and windshield.
Travel Trailers

A minimum of one to two hour is required to familiarize the client with the operation of the rental vehicle prior to departure.
A convenience kit is available at a charge of $55.00 per person. Children under 12 years pay half price.
Per Person
This kit includes, per person: Sleeping Bag, Pillow and Pillowcase, Bath and Hand Towel, Face Cloth, Chinaware and Cutlery.
Per Vehicle
This kit includes, per vehicle: Toaster, Table Cloth, Clothes Hangers, Pots and Pans, Frying Pan, Coffee Pot, Mixing Bowls, Cork Screw, Can/Bottle Opener, Tea Towels, Dish Cloth, Carpet Mats, Axe, Dust Pan & Broom and a Hair Dryer.
